  • Rewatching Usyk vs Fury 2

And it suddenly dawned on Nash, did Fury lose because of the colour of his shorts? Fury with red shorts just did not have that menace about him. Listen, we all know that Mike Tyson won all the fights he won because of his intimidating black shorts, had he worn another colour, let's say, orange, then he would not have been feared. Usyk never respected the red shorts of Fury.

In the first fight, one that certainly could have gone either way, Fury wore green, he looked far tougher in that pair, but looking back at the Wlad fight, he wore his best pair, dark green and yellow, but with Prince on the front in big writing, the shorts won him the fight. Now, if Fury commits himself to getting in shape, removes the beard (another reason why he lost) and wears that same pair of shorts or a replica, then we absolutely need Fury vs Usyk 3 and we as boxing fans can not allow Usyk to avoid, clean-shaven Fury in those shorts.

We need Fury-Usyk 3, for all the marbles... and the belts. Get on! Nash out - His Majesty

It's not the color. It's the fact that that was a skirt.

Any time a boxer wears a skirt, he loses. Look into it.

Fury got used to not sparring due to the cut, and never continued to spar off eye, he been in retirement lazy mode since fn exhibition fight he got his ass kicked far worse than the two usyks joints

Fury lost because he was even fatter and lazier than fight camp 1 don't understand the strategy, if u call being fat n lazy one...he boxed and outclassed usyk fight one before his playing shenanigans, had he trained more and repeated he could have won fight 2 easily...fight 2 from round 1 off my eye times usyk was open to jabs or counters, counters and lead punches fury landed the kitchen sink on in fight one, he tried to throw some of those shots fight two, he was too fat and slow to connect period...wishes usyk more fury for good for his sake, I'm not sure after two fights usyk is better there still, they may need a third fight and I'm not sure if I want that now, even with two great fights

Fury is shot to bits, when he came in lighter he almost got sparked by Usyk who is not a puncher.

He fattened up to improve his durability and thought he would try the wilder 2 approach, but fury has no legs at all so all he could do was hold center ring, he never cut off the ring or pushed Usyk back, because he can't, because he has no legs.

Fury is taking the piss and has been for years, he collected two huge sacks of desert turkey loot by somehow pulling the wool over everyone's eyes.

Uysk not being a puncher is a busted myth at this point...if his power was frail he wouldn't apply pressure as such that pressure wouldn't cause guys to wilt...aside from that fight 1 had like the best sharpest 8 rounds fury boxed til this day

Tyson needed more conditioning to move his damn feet more, those lazy half hearted defensive moves of late won't cut it vs a puncher that's accurate as such

The weight thing was used against wilder, every body been kicking wilder ass for years since ortiz, fury got himself and y'all brainwashed that fat fury is sharp, fat fury with those lazy movements was eating canvas with his changes still...

Fury need conditioning and his crazy daddy, his dad knows best about his son period.

              Usyk isn't a puncher.

AJ got smashed to smithereens by Ruiz and Dubois, Usyk couldn't drop him in 24 rounds despite landing double the punches those two did.

Usyk has no real knockdowns at heavyweight, Dubois took knees because he's mentally weak, the fury knockdown was a standing count.

Usyk isn't totally featherfisted, but his power at heavyweight is very, very average, Joseph Parker level at best.

He's successful applying pressure because of his footwork and movement coming forward, he isn't predictable and he's too quick for these big lugs who need time to get off their slower shots.

A boxer's shorts play a much bigger part in a fight result than some care to admit. When everyone thinks of Mike Tyson's prime, it's the vision of him in those black shorts, and remember, that's what his opponents saw, what his opponents feared. Fury's shorts vs Wlad had that equal fear factor. We can not pretend that Usyk's victories, as debatable as they were, were not down to Fury's selection of shorts, especially in fight two, and the beard was also a huge factor. A clean-shaven, bald-headed Fury with those shorts from the Wlad fight, and in his best physical condition, beats Usyk in fights 3,4,5 to win the series 3-2. If Manny and Marquez can fight weekly for years, so can Fury and Uysk, there is nobody else for either guy to fight. Nash out - His Majesty

In any color, it's likely that Wilder and Fury did a great deal to ruin each other. Even so, Usyk-Fury II was very close.
