True. Brother, he has to provide an excuse why such fights didn't do well PPV-wise. He just can't admit he watched the fights for free. It's taboo. Let's take Fury/Usyk, Joshua/Dubois, etc. for instance. Tons of articles were posted and discussed at length in this site for two months leading to the fights, then all of a sudden they couldn't be bothered to watch those fights in the afternoon? Sounds so silly isn't it? Especially for people who call themselves real boxing fans.I find it mad how people in the US complain about a 5pm main event time. In the UK, US main events are usually around 5am.
5pm on a Saturday is great you can get people together to watch it and at a decent time. Prime time 10pm is still good but don't get why i see US people complain about an afternoon, and when they do have it on primetime they complain if its run late to "12am". 5pm, 10pm, 12am main events way better than 5am.
The Crawford-Madrimov was held in the US, as another example. What's the explanation on this one why it didn't have PPV numbers? Easy peasy. Crawford is not PPV attraction doe. It's never about "I watched the fight for free."
In reality, all these fights are massively pirated. No exception, be it Canelo, so-called other PPV guy like Tank, etc. Only difference is PBC fans are hell-bent on lying and coming up with manufactured PPV reports/numbers. Others don't.Last edited by brettWall; 02-01-2025, 06:13 PM.Comment

Because fight NIGHTS are big in the US, not afternoons. The world moves when we say to

5pm main event is 2pm on the Westcoast. Nobody is buying 2pm ppvs in America

We've seen enough ppvs now that proves what I'm saying when it comes to u.k amd saudi fight ppv numbers in america. The names don't matter. Start time does
Who throwing a fight party at 11am? Nobody

I don't mind either. But we're the minority which is why you see low ppv numbers in america for UK and Saudi cards.
It's a zero percent chance of a fight party at 11 am broComment
