I agree with your premise, but don't think its chin but body (ie who can take a better shot to the body) Specifically for Morrel, who when he gets close to his opponent he carries both hands high to protect his chin, but leaves his body wide open. This is scary against Benavidez who likes to go to the body.

Jim is my favorite commentator ever! His zeal combined the ability to put words together in a deeper perspective than the norm worked so perfectly with the high clsss lighting, camera work, and everything else associated with the HBO telecasts!

I think Morrell might edge it, he has more tools. Of course, Benavidez might outwork him.

I wonder why Jim Lampley used the word cult, seems odd. Hardcore boxing fans are not a cult.

He used the word cult three separate times in this interview, or at least the part that was published here.
He seems to have a low bar for being in a cult - simply being aware of who David Benavidez is. Yikes, Jim Lampley.
If being a boxing fan who knows about Benavidez makes one a cult member, what does that make you, a long-time insider who attended all the rituals of this cult? (some of those rituals resembling human sacrifices, maybe) A cult leader or high priest or some other such nonsense?
