Floyd, my idol? I got no idols son. Ggg beat both of those guys and canelo too, and he was past his prime, and don't forget canelo was using his magic tacos, just like Floyd when he beat ginger, how old he was? 36yo. You guys spend more time excusing the king of duck than watching him fight.

Having said that, Morrell can knock your brains out. He's no joke at all. This fight will be something worth seeing...
      Caleb a master boxer!??

You spend more time making assumptions of other people..When did I say Canelo didn't duck Benavidez..
The same way you assume something, then I assume Floyd is your Idol Mami.
Duck Pacman for years and used IVs to face him.
GGG got a gift vs Derevyanchenko.
How old was Canelo when Mayweather decided to fight him? 23 when Canelo was Green as hell NO Elite level expirience and had to drianed him.

BUT, if he doesn't, I'm pretty confident it will be because he didn't stick to the gameplan and allows Benavidez to turn it into a firefight and gets drawn into unnecessary 50-50 exchanges. That's Benavidez' fight. Morrell should be working on the outside and driving Benavidez back onto the back foot when Benavidez tries to rest, setting lateral traps to take advantage of Benavidez' bad footwork, and countering in combination when Benavidez overreaches or resorts to his static high guard. He's got the speed, power, feet, and skills to keep Benavidez guessing all night, and probably drop him to boot. But if they start slugging it out, that makes it easier for Benavidez to get into it and take over. He has let his ego get into things before and gotten hit with unnecessary shots that he didn't need to get hit by, and IMO that comes down to maturity at the championship level.
Gotcha, that's not a bad analysis. Cubans tend to have massive egos so that tracks lol. Seriously speaking, I never thought of Morrell's slips from his game plan in fights but it's a big factor and not something Benavidez does. Paired with stamina, that gives Benavidez the edge, especially in the later rounds when focus tends to slip because of fatigue, they can go hand in hand.

On paper, this is arguably the best matchup in boxing.

I have Benevidez winning but would not be surprised if Morrell pulls it out.

Ronnie Shields is my favorite trainer in the sport today. Vernon's victory over Shane was one of the most shocking things I have seen in boxing.

That child is never going to grow a big enough pair to get in the ring at all, let alone with Plant. I always thought Sweet Hands was fun to watch, and I rated Benavidez much higher for having beaten him.
