My guess is that he will have to do something, just like when he fought Steve Claggett. He has rejected a few lucrative fights and those fighters have already found alternative dance partners. Right now his only ace is that he has a belt. He has been waiting for the Ryan Garcia money but that does not look like happening in the next 12 months at least and Ryan will fight at 147. So his options are going to be Richardson Hitchins or Jack Catterall (assuming he wins). My guess is he chooses to keep his belt by fighting Catterall in England because that is where Eddie will offer him the most money.

Cat in the UK is safer than Hitchens, if Turki pays. If Eddy pays, nowhere is safe.

He only rejected it due to his issues with Top Rank. Looks like now he is in talks with Turki, any fight with Turki he will make more than fighting the mandatory, and IF Turkis plan for him goes ahead and Teo goes ahead no one can question tbh as the plan is unify vs Hitchins next (their teams have been pictured in a meeting)

After this Teo moves up to 147, in that case this mandatory will not matter.

Turkis plan then is Teo vs Boots on undercard of Haney/Garcia in October. Then in Feb the winners fight and loser fights.

I've a feeling the Barboza Jnr will get robbed on the cards against Catterall the same way Taylor did last time out. If the best Lopez turn up, he should beat Catterall with relative ease. Catterrall is very good and compact, but struggles in the stamina department if made to work.

It means you want to see a boxer get KTFO because he (or she) has annoyed you so much for whatever reason - extreme arrogance, wasting time and talent, whatever floats your boat as an irritable boxing fan.
