Why are people surprised by Mike Tyson not being smart?

He's always been dumb and he's always been a bad person. Now he's just an older version of that.

You sure about that. Go look at some random 10-15m mansions that were sold 5-10 years ago and come back and tell me their worth today. It won't be the same and it won't be less.

Just so unnecessary, and you'd think these guys would learn and maybe Tyson would just buy a reasonable house, you know something nice in the 2-3m range, you can get a good enough house for anyone for that, but no....

Its still a 13 mill asset, he can always cash it and in 10 years its probably worth 20ml , this isnt a venture in a restaurant or something you cant really lose on real estate unless you pay way over market value.

Seems ill-advised, for sure. Unless you want to live in some extremely expensive area — like Beverly Hills, or the Hamptons — 3 million will buy a lovely home. The upkeep for a property of a 13 mill magnitude just isn’t worth it unless you’re hauling in a great deal of money on an annual basis. I know Mike has other income streams, but, based on his reported net worth prior to the Paul fight, that new purchase is out of his league.

Should have bought a go-kart and a shed. Why does he need more than that? Nash out - His Majesty

Tyson maybe got 20 to 25 years to live. Maybe not worth such big expenditure.
