Tim is not such a bad guy. He is often misunderstood because he was wired like a soldier in the ring.
The man’s a fighter at heart who just loves to fight.
He was never a strong or durable fighter but he had that fighter’s instinct. He had an iron will with a tremendous amount of fortitude.
We can still even feel that warrior’s spirit of his while commentating. He’s no punk. He’s just honest. Which often rubs people the wrong way. He calls it like it is and many fighters and fans alike resent that.Last edited by champion4ever; 01-27-2025, 04:57 PM.

I like this article. It was a very good read. This is one of the best I’ve read so far this year.
Kudos to both the writer and editor. It gave us in depth look at Timothy Bradley the man.
He comes across as a genuinely kind and nice guy; Who would literally give you the shirt off his back.Last edited by champion4ever; 01-27-2025, 04:58 PM.

He is one of the most controversial commentators we’ve had in a long time because the man is both honest and fearless behind that microphone. He speaks his mind.Last edited by champion4ever; 01-27-2025, 04:58 PM.

Bradley had a good career and made a lot of money.
I dont worry about him hes got money. Theres so many journeymen and sparring partners that nobody has heard of that work odd jobs in warehouses until the day they die and have even more of the health issues than a bradley or most of the famous fighters we could name.

This was a well-written article. We want and need more of this level of writing on Boxing Scene. I have loved this sport since Larry Holmes vs. Gerry Cooney. That is the fight that hooked me and made me a lifelong boxing fan. I am still waiting for the sport to vanquish fraud and corruption, we can start by imposing "real-time" instant replay and banning judges that are clearly dishonorable.MulaKO likes this.

The Pacquiao robbery aside, solid career with some great wins (Witter, Provodnikov, Marquez) and good/decent ones (Peterson, Alexander, Vargas).
His commentary is hit and miss, but I always like his passion for it. Ward, as knowledgeable as he was, never seemed as excited to be there.
