Looking back, it's actually amazing that he came back, after the punishment against Provodnikov, to beat Marquez.

It wasn't a controversial decision, whereas many doubt he won one of the fights in the Pacquiao trilogy.

After each hard fight, boxers leave a piece of themselves inside that ring. Whether you like his commentary or not, have to say his paid his dues and gave it his all as a fighter.

I remember him beating Witter & what amazed me was his work-rate, there literally wasn't one second in 12 3 minute rounds when his hands & feet weren't moving. Witter could punch like a MoFo so he would've loved Bradley to switch off for just a micro second to get sparked. Bradley wouldn't do it. He wasn't going to win any prizes for sleek skills, devastating power or lightning fast hands but he had an unbelievable engine & he was **** on the money from the first second of R1 to the last second of R12. I have a lot of respect for Tim.

        Great Boxer. Bias commentator. Period.

If only he could use the same energy he used as a boxer to be a fair commentator.

Nothing against the guy, but facts are facts.

Loves everyone under the Top Rank banner but everyone else....Well....

I don't like much Tim as a commentator. Never liked him much as a fighter.

That said, I respect him. The dude had no power, tiny reach and a big a s s e d head that had to have made it easy for guys to land.

He had the boxing skills to beat some good fighters, that's for sure.

The thing about Tim as a fighter was he didn't do anything particularly special in there. Like he wasn't the fastest or most powerful or the most athletic but he was solid in a lot of areas and he had a good engine and great chin and he could box with you and he could stand and fight. His win over Marquez to me was impressive because that night he showed alot of his ability and he basically outclassed Marquez in there. Also his earlier wins at 140 against Witter, Alexander and Peterson were also good wins at the time because they were the guys at 140

Not a great commentator at all but as a fighter he unquestionably deserves respect.

He was gifted a very strange and undeserved win over Pacquiao but he definitely made the most out of it.

Goddamn did I love me some Desert Storm. Watching him always made me feel good about boxing. Saw him for the first time taking one of the most hellacious KDs I've ever seen against Holt, rallying back from that, and always fighting like he was a pitbull but without the big bite. The Pacquiao robbery aside, solid career with some great wins (Witter, Provodnikov, Marquez) and good/decent ones (Peterson, Alexander, Vargas).

His commentary is hit and miss, but I always like his passion for it. Ward, as knowledgeable as he was, never seemed as excited to be there.

Not many would of gotten up from that left hook delivered by Holt
Let alone his war with Provodnikov
Tim deserves respect and not a bad resume to boot
