Better not F around and lose this one, Gary. Al can pull you out of only so many holes. Inactivity and a two fight losing streak would not be good.

Consecutive title shots come as a result of someone very influential pulling strings for you.

Fought for a world title and lost. Don't matter who it is. Only the star attractions of the sport get away with that(which still ain't right, but money talks) and Russell ain't that. No fighter should be fighting for a title after a loss, but boxing politics will always rear it's ugly head at some point.

He is the easiest target to point out, but other PBC fighters have also had that benefit as of late. Boxing politics at its finest.

The thing is, Valenzuela is not a guy for you to bounce back...not at all. Hey but something I can tell you, this is gonna be a great explosive fight while it last.

Basically, yes. Gary is a good fighter, but he's done nothing since the Puello loss except gather dust. He really doesn't deserve this title shot.

                    I agree ( PBC pulling strings )
I'm leaning towards Rayo beating him
I know you like Russell in this one

Why would I like Russell in this fight, because he's Black? I actually hope El Rayo wins and will be pulling for him. If Gary wins, he'll fight once every two years and sit on his azz like his brother GRJ aka Ground Hog.
