Still find it weird he's taking a step down after his last fight. Ajagba is washed. Bakole/Kabayel would've had fight of the year written all over it

It’s not weird, the IBF put forward Bakole vs Zhang for a final eliminator but Zhang signed to fight Kabayel for the WBC interim. Ajagba was next in the IBF rankings.

Agree that Bakole should fight a better level. Not as easy as that to get opponents, both AJ & DDD would, i swear, gnaw their own toes off rather than step into the ring with a bad MoFo like Bakole.

I think hunter making Bakole quit was enough to reasonably ask for the fight. Bakole always says nobody wants to fight him. Well the guy who's already beaten him does.

Bakole is the top ranked IBF heavyweight and Ajagba is next in line in the IBF rankings. Hunter isn’t even their top 15.

He creamed the so called best young American heavyweight and now he is taking the IBF route since it’s the fastest to a world title shot. Hunter isn’t even in that IBF picture at all.

Not gonna take anything away from Efe because he did wtv he did for the ranking but imo it’s really two steps backwards
This is on Bakole who could of said no , give me something better
But he going for that IBF strap

This is his second fight since being hyped ( Anderson )
We will get a better read once he defeats him and see who he takes in next

Bakole turned down Kabayel cause he apparently wanted more money is what reports said
