Benn v eubank junior will sell those 70 thousand tickets within 12 hours. Match room could sell another 70 thousand the following day. This fight blows everything away in boxing for most of 2025. I can't yet see a match up on the horizon as big as this fight. I think benn will ko him in the first 7 rounds.

no doubt money talks but you still have to do the talking to the fight teams, do the cajoling/persuading, and do all the admin involved in putting a show together; venue, accommodation, staffing, security, tv etc

In what alternate reality does a belt holder duck someone in a higher weight class challenging them to move up in weight to fight them. Ennis has the belt. If Ortiz wanted to fight him do it at 147 for the belt. And how on earth is he ducking Lopez? what does Lopez have to offer. He’s not even ranked at 147, hasn’t even fought at 147 and hasn’t carried his power up to 140. Hardly a challenge for Ennis let alone a duck. Mulako me old mucker - I'm a Brit for better or worse - and not a patriotic one. You doubling down on Slow Eddie is funny - i just see it differently - he's exploited opportunities to build his business and he's getting fights done. He was the first to start working with Turki when Arum, Oscar were skeptical and PBC flat out not interested. Tomorrow there are three Matchroom shows going on - if it wasn't for Matchroom it'd be another chit weekend for boxing fans. I think Hearn coming in and making noise in the US market irritates American patriots - but really they should be annoyed at their own promoters for not doing a better job - still, at least PBC is getting its act together.
