Midway over the Pacific Keith's ears will pop from the change in air pressure and it'll destroy his equilibrium. Or since he's going to Australia and will be upside down, too much blood will flow to his head and he'll be discombobulated.

When you think about it, Australia is a step back from Vegas and Kangaroos are on the card anyway. At least Kieth has some cache. That means he can get some extra cash. I think.

Yep as I suspected they are trying to set up a Spence Thurman showdown at 154lbs

Apparently it is to set up Tsyzu in Australia.

Although Spence Thurman should be made as both past it and inactive. But Spence been ducking him for years so not sure he would ever fight him

I must say, I thought that Keith Thurman was retired, just like Spence. You completely forget about him and then after a couple of years, his name pops up, only to disappear again. It is a pitty, at his peak he was quite good.

They all rush to come back when they're approaching 40, and running low on cash.
Even the millionaires don't stop working in their retirement age.
Boxers nowadays as soon as they net around $ 500K they feel like they don't need to fight.
Expect these inactive fighters coming back before it's too late. But it's too late.
The money won't be as lucrative as before. Prime years are over.

I've been hoping Thurman would come back. He's needs to earn back some trust though.

Jarvis looks like a young strong guy, we'll see if he can give an honest assessment of Keith.

For what it's worth, I thought Thurman looked viable in his last fight, should still have something left.

At the very least Thurman was in the conversation as the best welterweight out there, pending a unification fight or two. Then all the injuries, long periods of inactivity, and we never got to find out. He may still have a few fights left in him but it's over at the highest levels. Does anyone really think he can beat Boots or Murtazaliev or Bohachuk? So to always, somehow, still have Thurman popping up as a news item is starting to irritate me. Just retire, Champ. You've had your One Time and it's slipped through your fingers, gone forever.
