A shop worn Shane ? Shane who was coming off a career best win against Margarito and Margaritio he was considered a Monster when Shane destroyed him and Floyd fought Shane straight after and beat him easily
And Cotto was coming off back to back wins against Margarito and Mayorga when he lost to Floyd. ODLH ? OK. I agree with you. It wasn't prime ODLH but nobody thought that at the time and it was close fight but I still thought Floyd won and Floyd would have beaten Gatti at any age

That doesn't make Mosley prime.
Please don't leave out the part where you say Mosley was 38, dropped 2 a piece to Forrest and Wright, lost a brutal one to Cotto.Last edited by djtmal; 01-22-2025, 10:43 AM.Comment

I am not going to humor you with your “expectations”. If that is the gospel truth then we have Andre Ward at 32-0 lauded as an ATG.
Lomachenko at 18-3 an ATG.
The great Sugar Ray Leonard at 36-3-1 a GOAT.
Floyd was 33-0 when he fought Gatti in his first fight at 140.
Now. YOU can insert your “weak” opponents excuse for Floyd here:

But yet you think beating a 41 year old Holyfield, who was 2-2-2 in his last 6 fights, who had lost to Bowe twice, knocked out in one of them, Moorer, Lewis, Chris Byrd and JOHN RUIZ is "still solid"
How does it feel being the fat, raging hypocrite that you are?Comment

About the same as Cotto vs Manny, which is nowhere near as drained as Oscar was vs Manny, you shouldnt have trouble comprehending that, but then again youre not very bright.Comment

Meanwhile, Marquez after getting beat like a pińata in 2009 by Floyd, went on to KO Pacqiao three years later. I mean how is that even possible based on your logic?
Also, Pacqiao beat Mosley who was coming off a lopsided loss to Floyd.
PAC beat Margarito who was coming off a spectacular KO loss to Mosley,
PAC beat Broner was coming off 3 losses and a draw, PAC beat Brandon Rios who was coming off a loss and moving up in weight.
PAC wheat Cotto who was coming off a brutal loss to Margarito and was weight drained.
PAC beat Hatton who was coming off a KO loss to Floyd and it goes on and on.
If this is NOT the true definition of cherry-picking gone wild, then I don’t know what is.
I am just going off your logic. That when a fighter loses a fight, it’s the end for them. They are no longer great. Heck, SRL got beat by Duran so that should have been the end of him. Ali lost to Frazier so that disqualifies him from being mentioned in the GOAT category because a loss defines a career. Mosley was done after the loss to Forrest you say. So we shouldn’t glorify Floyd’s win anymore than we glorify PAC’s win.

That's some Floyd excuse hypocrite bs if i ever heard it
Just the other week you were on here crying about Oscar being badly drained to excuse him from how Manny beat the brakes off him, but in Corrales case because it's your lover Floyd he wasn't "as drained".
What a crock of Sxxt.
So I guess now you was hanging out with Corrales to ascertain he wasn't "as drained" as Oscar was.
You Floyd boys are more creative than Spielberg
Insert excuses for drained and "not as drained" in ten words or less here:

Freddy Roach demanded the Oscar fight at 147
Corrales was a belt holder at 130 and the “weight drained” excuse only came after the fight.
That’s like Crawford beating Spence and then after the fight, the excuse of Spence being weight drained comes out.
You can debate people here without personifying your responses.
