Comments Thread For: The undercard for Chris Eubank Jnr-Conor Benn starts to take shape

Two fights that could land on the Chris Eubank Jnr-Conor Benn bill on April 26 in London are a middleweight fight between Liam Smith and Aaron McKenna and, at cruiserweight, Cheavon Clarke vs. Viddal Riley. There might also be a space for streaking junior welterweight star Adam Azim.

Honestly i give boxing maybe 20 more years before it fades into ESPN 3 level sports. I don't doubt it will still be big in in other countries but here in America it will be gone. This fight is only for the casual UK fan.

Eddy is going to empty his shelves with this one. If they buy this, they'll take the fluff and filler too. He wont upstage the main no matter how easy when he can sell his aging products.

If Azim is on the undercard they should at least do Azim vs Dalton Smith. Chev Clarke vs Viddal Riley is a good fight too BUT they're not exactly the level of fights I was hoping for. I guess every card can't be Feb 22. I hope that Bakole vs Ajagba lands on here at least. That would elevate it. Fingers crossed.

Did not know that Azim is a junior welter weight star.

McKenna looks like he's about 13. Surprised he's not got a "Baby Face" moniker.

Do you guys really think Eddy will give you a great undercard after selling you a lemon? That doesnt make any sense. He could sell that undercard by itself and scrap Zombie vs Shorteyes. Look for Azim vs Willy Lumplump.

I hear you, man. But given this is financed by Turki, I'd hoped for a better card. Turki promised a 'tough' undercard when he announced Eubank Jr-Benn on social media, but I didn't think he meant tough on the fans!

Anything is better than this thing and we are going to watch it for the undercard? I dont think so. This is the school of Less is Best. Nothing on the card can be as compelling as the main. You don't want to spoil the customers
