First, the crime Crawford committed was proving just how protected the PBC in-house fighters really were, and holding that against Crawford is misplaced anger.
The PBC had a nice run but it was always a scam run on other peoples money and kept alive for as long as they could make excuses for avoiding anyone with a pulse. All Crawford did was beat the best PBC welterweight and fans realized the rest of the PBC welterweight stable were not PPV worthy. Crawford didn't plan it, that's just the way it happened.
The PBC lost the heavyweight division when Wilder got exposed and without the welterweight division the PBC still had Tank, and a decent thing going in the 154lb division. Unfortunately, Charlo couldn't keep making excuses so he decided to run from Canelo and cash out. Turki came along and showed that most of the best 154lb fighters were not PBC fighters and Tank still refuses to fight anyone with a heart beat.
None of this is Crawford's fault, he was there when the operation was exposed and people blame him for it.
