He absolutely deserves it.

First he was supposed to fight Fundora for the vacant WBC title.
Then Fundora pulled out to fight Tszyu for the unified title.
Then Bohachuk was forced to fight Mendoza, who knocked Fundora out, for an interim belt instead and won.
Then Bohachuk whooped Ortiz's ass and got robbed on the cards
Then Madrimov pulled out of a fight against Bohachuk to fight Ortiz

There's no excuse for Fundora not to fight him next. None.

Bohachuk deserves it, BUT it sounds like they don't really want to fight him and probably have someone else in mind who will bring more $$$ to the table. Who says "Bohachuk will not be ready"? How do they know? Fundora is selling his titles in the next fight so he needs the highest payday possible. There is no way he survives the next fight with his belts intact.
