Comments Thread For: Jesus Ramos Jnr wants to follow Jeison Rosario fight by facing Jermell Charlo next

Ramos is looking for his second win since a controversial decision loss to Erickson Lubin in September 2023. He fights on the undercard of David Benavidez vs. David Morrell.

Man, the 154 division is stacked! I ain’t gonna lie, when I saw this dude beat up Spencer, I was like woah! Dude is huge for the super middleweight division, I didn’t throw him away after the Lubin fight. I was so wrong about that one, I told all my casual boxing friends to watch that one and it was a dud. Anyway, this should be a good test for him and I will definitely keep my eye on him!

I did the same. I thought Ramos would out-gun Lubin in a shootout. Instead we saw a risk-averse Lubin passively box Ramos who seemed incapable of forcing the issue. The judges rewarded Lubin with the win.

Rosario is pretty shopworn, and is Jermell even hinting at returning to the ring? I hope to see Ramos return to fighting active contenders.
