I had the first fight close but an Usyk win. I do not score fights so I do not count my scoring as being particularly accurate. Yes, people will make excuses. IMO forget scoring punches... Fury was caught unable to hit the gas pedal in the championship rounds. This was particularly true for the second fight. Fury had been smart preparing for Wilder, and followed through strategically in both fights, but his strategy was lacking in the Usyk fight because he was unable to do much the the last few rounds of the fight(s).

I would give Usyk both fights on that accord alone... After the first fight all Fury had to do was train to go hard for 3 more 3 minute rounds... He should have lost weight, and strategized accordingly. In both fights he was successful the early rounds ( a clue?). Of course Alexander is a slow starter, but even so, Fury neglected an obvious blueprint for better success. He came into the second fight in bad shape and seemingly with no blueprint.

Yes!! Amateur crap... How many punches? First of all? Judges cannot see these punches, they have to assume, many times, the punch landed... So for example, you see an Amanda Sierano shot that rocks Taylor, then see Taylor throw 5 arm punches while grunting... and this is how protected Taylor is. YES scoring has to consider the effect of the punches and whether they actually landed! Great example with the Bivol fight! Bivol was put into a defensive situation, he was not the aggressor.

When we talk about Shakur, or Bivol, their approach is great however, there has to be evidence it is Affecting their opponent. That is professional prize fighting versus Olympic concepts of scoring a match.

For Bivol to run for 6 rounds and not engage , it’s very hard not to be subjective
His fight of spurts as I put it , is very telling of what was to come from the 6th round and on
Being a big Beterbiev fan , I was disappointed with how much respect he showed Bivol
Not his way of fighting as Artur shows respect for two maybe three rounds and then executed his plan
Look at all other Bivol fights ( besides his fight with Lyndon and Spider ) never do you aee

He consistently picked and chose whom not to fight and those he did choose, he forced to fight twice in case of loss and sometimes he tried to forced them to fight someone else before he may have chosen to fight them.

I was being a bit dramatic but ruined legacy in terms of instead of being best of era he's been downgraded.
I mean foreman and frasier probably weren't best of era too but they were nobodies fool, and neither is fury. I like fury.

Foreman. and Frazier by far well over Blubber whose main trick was talking the walking zombie Deyonce into fighting him. He was already emasculated when he fought Usyk, but he was in denial and still in denial.

AJ don't need Blubber and certainly won't fight him now that Blubber ducked 2 career purses. The IBF purse is going up for the taking by Dubois and Parker. I pick Parker to beat Dubois and then rematch AJ. No matter, the end of a storied era is over, and so let boxing fans eat their cake while choking on it.
