He always ignored them to have a war. I remember when Evander fought Ridd1ck who was far bigger and stronger than him. He lost. In the rematch he had Emmanuel in his corner who made him move and jab and he gave him a boxing lesson. Third fight, he got rid of Emmanuel and stood in front of the bigger man. Evander probably had the skills to beat Frazier but he wouldn’t use them. He would stand and have a fight and that wouldn’t end well for Evander.
Boxing is a popularity contest. If you don't have a mass following of fans or a big media support you will fade away. Examples - Aaron Pryor, Larry Holmes, Andre Ward, Jermain Taylor, Ricardo Lopez, Johnny Tapia, Micheal Spinks, Lara, Jermain Taylor, actually Ridd1ck Bowe is also a good example man only had one lost but once he put that belt in the trash he lost the fans and the media. I barely hear anyone mentioning Winky anymore.

That may be the most entertaining article I have ever read on Boxing Scene. Absolutely terrific. Already a fan of Frazier's, I am now one of Mulvaney's.

        Absolutely.

I think we can learn a lot from Holyfield's war with Qawi, who was a shorter man who just kept coming & pushed Evander to his absolute limits.

I think Frazier's an even bigger, stronger, more forceful pressure fighter than Qawi, so I'm going with "Smokin' Joe" in an absolute WARRRRR
