    Lennox Lewis the g.o.a.t.

    Is Lennox Lewis underrated?

He's a head to head beast, mythologically speaking, he meet up with any hw in time and it would be a fair fight!

Gold in the Olympics, defeated Rid**** bowe. Ducked by Rid**** bowe in the pros, beat everyone he's been in the ring with, avenging his only 2 losses by ko and tko, like I said only had 2 flash knockdowns that were unfortunately kos. He beat hasim Rahman, Evander Holyfield, and Mike Tyson. He defeated the saviour of the division David Tua back in the day. Best boxer out of heavyweight Britain legacy. Great Canadian heavyweight boxer. I'm pretty sure he beat Rahman a round or two earlier than Rahman beat him, convincingly showing he was superior. Also great resume: the list is packed with many a names. He arguably could beat any every hw ever in time.

Golota, Klitschko, Mercer, Briggs, Botha, Bruno, grant etc. His right hand was lethal. His left jab was a beautiful weapon. His uppercuts were crazy. His one two = textbook stuff. I'm pretty sure he has a human highlight reel of snapping heads and scoring knockouts that any hw would call a great legacy.

Not that many great hws left in his era, he was sent there to clean up the mess. Only didn't tussle with : John Ruiz, Chris Byrd, Roy Jones junior. Basically that was the landscape back then.

If you deem him not the best, who would he need to beat to make that list iyo?

No he could have been a GOAT he chose to be a boxing coward, running away from his legacy match

Lennox a guy that fought the best fighters of his time period when they were aged and depleted, yet old mercer and holyfield gave him absolute hell

Lennox was a beast, no doubt, but skipping the Vitali rematch? That’s like leaving a boss fight half-finished. Vitali was ahead on points, and we all wanted round two. GOATs don’t leave unfinished business

In terms of resume he has the argument to be #1 HW ever(I have him at 2 behind Ali). In terms of Head to Head matchups you can argue he's #1 as well. He fought in the second best, some would say best ever HW era and beat everyone he could beat(unless they ran away like Bowe and a slightly younger Tyson).

Obviously this site has too many ignorant people of low IQ who just see KO loss on a record and fail to understand all other context before they make an ignorant statement.

Him and Holmes at their best are probably the two best h2h HWs ever imo.

GOAT is opinion, so he can be. But more people probably think Ali is GOAT.

Lewis is so overrated. Lost to two average fighters, winning rematches does not change that. Was getting battered by Vitali, the weaker of the K Brothers, before being saved by a fortunate cut to Vitali, he then ducked the rematch after his grandmother told him on the phone that Vitali kicked his ass once already and will do it again, so just sail off into the sunset with your lucky victory. Only has a 50% win rate over Holyfield, a man who lost over 10 fights, beat the shell of a shell of Mike Tyson, poundshop Joshua in Bruno and some other overrated guys. He's not even in Dubois class, never mind the goat. George Foreman has a grill named after him. That's what makes someone the goat. Nash out - His Majesty
