"I thought Jai would actually box him, but he actually doubled down and went fcuking savage"

    Eddie's not lying this time.

It's part of the sport. When someone gets knocked out cold, they're not getting up for a bit. Not sure why it would be surprising to Eddie whose been around it for a bit now. Granted, I'm not trying to sound cold either because obviously I would never want to see a fighter seriously hurt, but again, it's part of the sport. When Pac was iced by Marquez, I never thought he was dead, I just thought, damn, he's out cold. I never like to imagine someone is ever "dead" from a knockout because death can occur in boxing as we know, but it's not always from the knockout, but rather the accumulative beating.

Nyika's corner choked, not throwing the towel was three punches late. After the first knock down, the corner failed to anticipate the damage on the horizon. Understanding the step up, level of competition for Nyika, his team surly had pre fight conversations for this type of outcome and steps to take in real time to prevent the type of damage Nyika endured.

Ramirez is WBO and WBA Champion, not WBC as stated in the article...

This will make both fighters more marketable, for sure. Opetaia and Ramirez could have a fun time unifying for a profitable bit of CW history.

Slow Eddie didn’t look fazed at all post fight interviews
I guess he’s still trying to sell the fight lol or the dream

I hope these fighters get regular MRI's. I know it's very expensive, but then the sanctioning bodies should pay.

A once punch knockout loss early in a fight is usually not as damaging as continuous punishment over many rounds. That said, guys that got ko'd badly like Ngannou and Nyika should get checked out.

Nyika said pre fight he half expected to spend the night in hospital. He knew he was going out on his shield based on how he chose to just straight up bäng with Jai.

Mad respect to him. Even though it was a spectacular loss it showed Dave has massive nads and a warrior spirit.

That should get him a few nice paydays while increasing his mana in the sport no end.

Nyika v CBS would be a good next outing.
