This Shalom promoter gotta be careful about this. No one remembers Benn ever losing his pen and has no history of pricing himself out. Eubank was offered $5 million for the Golovkin fight and wanted more, while GGG was only getting $1 mil. Offer was passed on to Brook which spelled the ending of his career. Reports also say Eubank vs Canelo didn't happen because of Jr. Eubank is no saint.

Americans might laugh at how 'sad' British fans are, or how sad the state of British boxing is - but the reality is that there is some intrigue and more than anything its a fun night out. I can see it but I don't expect non Brits to see it. Different cultures. [then again, as a Brit I just cannot understand the people who go and watch darts championships - but go they do and by all accounts have a fantastic time]
In the US you have a thing with Country box which is a 'thing' and quite a lot of people go see that - to each their own.shwaap likes this.

Seriously, people need to put some respect on Chris Eubank Junior's career and feats achieved 'Let's get this right? Chris Eubank Junior whether people like to admit it or not, has fought at all levels in boxing. Eubank Junior has battled his way through the domestic levels of the game, and became the British Champion in the middle weight division. Chris Eubank Junior fought a fighter in Nick Blackwell who, previously had beaten John Ryder for the British title. That fight was as real and hardcore as it gets in boxing, it was a brutal competitive contest. Both fighters produced in my opinion, one of the best and highest level British title fights of this century. If Chris Eubank Junior proved anything that night? Was that he was worthy of being a British Champion, and wining the Lonsdale belt. Which is the most prestigious title that any boxer can win in the entire sport.
Conor Benn has not fought his nearest competition as a British fighter 'He has seemingly bypassed that level of the game. And I have always been adamant that, those tactics? Can potentially be very detrimental for his career in terms of development as a fighter'.
Note: Chris Eubank Junior has fought World Champions, and been competitive 'Win or lose he has always produce a solid effort. I have never claimed that Eubank Junior is a World level fighter, but no honest boxing analyst or observer can deny? That he is a solid fighter, who from his own efforts has had a commendable career'.
Simon Jordan claimed that Chris Eubank Junior was a charlatan 'When in reality? You don't compete against fighters such as Billy Joe Saunders, George Groves, Arthur Abraham, James Degale, Liam Williams, Liam Smith, Avni Yilidirim, Gary O'Sullivan, beat some of those fighters an even in a loss? Always push and those fighters in a competitive fight. That is precisely what Chris Eubank Junior has done throughout his entire career.
We have witnessed Chris Eubank Junior recently lose a top level against Liam Smith 'A former World Champion. Eubank Junior in their rematch, was pretty much fighting to continue his career in high jeopardy fight. Chris Eubank Junior was not backed by many people in the boxing community to win the fight, the narrative during the build up to the rematch? Was that Chris Eubank Junior had to win this fight, or his career and reputation would of sustained a critical impact'.
Chris Eubank Junior avenged his loss vs Liam Smith 'A fighter who was not manufactured to lose. Liam Smith has his own very intriguing career, with serious ambition. Smith is a former world Champion, and at the time he fought Eubank Junior? He was a contender for a World title in the 154 pound divisions'.
To conclude: Conor Benn has never in his career overcame, such a challenge 'I believe that almost 100% of his fights, have been manufactured in a way. Were he is the most likely the fighter that will win meaning? He has never really been real competitive fight. Benn has never fought a competitor, that has came into the fight to win. There has always been some factor in the match making, that greatly increases the likely-hood of Conor Benn Winning the fight. They are facts of his career'.
And if people disagree with me? Then I have got some more information for you 'The original Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Junior fight. Was going to be a contest, taking place at a catch weight of 156 pounds. Not only was the fight, going to be fought at a catch weight. There was also a rehydration clause, were Chris Eubank Junior would weight no heavier than 162 pounds, on fight night. Chris Eubank Junior is fighter, who has fought as high as 168 pounds at World level'.
Those tactics used by Eddie Hearn, are a promoter trying their best 'To create a competitive environment, that greatly increased the likely-hood of Conor Benn winning. Very opportunistic, but you would have to all admit? It terms of marketability, and business Match Room were just doing their best work'.
Now presently as we speak 'The dynamic of this matchup have altered dramatically. If the fight happens, it will be less of a manufactured boxing contest. And I will actually state something very controversial? At 160 pounds, without a catch weight or rehydration clause. Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Junior, will be Benn's first real competitive fight'.
The first original fight, was some sort of hybrid boxing contest 'The fight was too manufactured. But this potential second fight, looks to be more of a real competitive fight' etc.

These clowns think it's a Mayweather v Pac kind of situation , it's the little and large show of one that's not really beat anybody against the one that's not really fought anybody .Their dads were excellent warriors , this is only a spin off from them .I'll be glad when this is over , a money grab that proves nothing.MulaKO likes this.
