Fugg an interim belt. Strip his ass and put the belt up between barboza and catterall. If he wants it back, he fights the winner for it. If he doesnt, move the fugg on. Im in favor of leaving these boxing “superstars” in the dust and giving the opportunities to the next man up. Fugg all this interim and secondary belt talk though. Just waters the real belts and boxing down.

Yes, these divas that don't want hard fights should be stripped and those that want the smoke should be fighting for the official title.

Wtf for? Just order lopez to fight the #1 contender or strip him. No need for an interim fight

Lopez should be stripped ASAP. He's a clown who wants to sit on the title forever amidst fake "drama" with Top Rank as a smokescreen. I'm curious how Catterall has beaten so many Top 10 guys and has been a top contender for at least 2 years, but has never pushed for the title shot he's clearly earned. It's weird how Catterall and Barboza are 30+, but never seemed interested in title shots until now.

The whole concept of "Interim Champion" makes no sense.

            The real question:

Is you is or is you ain't Da Champeen of Da Woild?

Catterall tied his wagon to Josh Taylor, which delayed his progression. Also, Catterall has only fought two notable opponents: Taylor and Prograis. Linares was a name, but obviously past it. Barboza is similar: notable opponent in Ramirez and a faded name in Pedraza. I think Barboza/Gato is a very important match-up for both.

These two have fought eliminator after eliminator, now they got to fight each other. The politics of boxing really hurts the sport. If Jack wins he has the style to beat Teo since he has issues cutting the ring.

Odd to see guys who are 30+ and top contenders make absolutely no noise for a title shot. Very odd.
