I like Zurdo. He is a soft spoken kid with a rich heritage and culture of boxing backing him and I wish him well, but there is something missing. He is good but not good enough to be at the elite level. I hope it is a good fight, but likely Jai Opetiaia beats him and beats him easily, We shall see.

I think Opetaia gives him a hellacious beat-down, but how do you know that Zurdo doesn't have the heart or the will to go out on his shield? That's one of the things we should hope to learn about Ramirez because he's never really been tested enough to have to show it.

Even an old Maris Briedis beats prime Zurdo at CW. Opetaia is going to run through Zurdo and possibly give him a career-ending beating.

Make it happen and leave all the talk behind. Only way to know who is better is to actually fight each other. Power doesn't always beat the more skilled boxer.

    "...all that boxing shhit..." LOL
Jai will target the somewhat flabby-looking Zurdo midsection with brutal efficiency and slow that shhit down.
Then he'll wipe that Zurdo smile off his face.

Jai beat a far better boxer than Zurdo in Briedis twice. Zurdo got schooled by Bivol too.

Zurdo v Jai would certainly crown the new king of the cruiserweights. I hope they make that fight.
