I believe Crawford can win some early rounds, though we all know the first 4 will all be pre filled for Canelo.
Canelos constant pounding on the arms & body may cause Bud problems later on, if not it will be decided on gas tanks down the stretch.

Canelo stoppage, Bud points or Canelo fixed points once more?

Who really wants to see a boring fight where Bud runs the whole fight? I was in Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Casino for the Bam Bam Rios vs Mike Alvarado rematch where Bud got his first shine. He accepted a last minute fight at 140 against Breidis Prescott and let me tell you watching it live, he ain’t what y’all think he is. He was running, ducking, dodging everything and made it a snooze fest! Guaranteed you will see the same thing vs Canelo.

So now fighters shouldn’t be ducking and dodging? Lol

Am I missing something why no one has mentioned that Canelo knocked out Kovalev? Crawford vs Canelo would be a great pound for pound fight and would be interesting how it might be compared to Mayweathers fight with him

Canelo is an ATG at 34 years old and has the best resume in boxing and that’s a fact! Let Bud keep begging for the fight hahahaha! The face of boxing ain’t taking the bait.
Not unless he's gonna claim to be the best and the face of Boxing. If he's getting in his last lap around the field, I would understand, but he's claimed to be the best just a few months back..

Bro, PPV buys show he’s still the face of boxing regardless of who he’s facing. This is his last lap, guaranteed he’s done more than your favorite fighter! Btw, who is your favorite fighter?

Yes, I agree that he currently sells the most PPVs, at least in the North American continent and maybe internationally.

I'm an older guy in my mid 50s so I don't have a favorite fighter per say, but I enjoy watching a good fight whether it be Canelo, Tank, Virgil, Loma, Bokachuk, Crawford, etc..

I prefer a fighter who's aggressive, but is skilled enough to know how to avoid punches and be an effective counter puncher.

I don't root for a fighter just because he's white, black, brown or yellow and prefer a boxer to be humble, respectful and to do the talking with his fists.

Yes, I agree that Canelo has achieved much success in boxing and much more in life than I and everyone on this forum.

If you think I'm a hater of Canelo, I certainly am not, nor do I have a reason to hate any other fighter. I might dislike some of the things that fighters do outside of the ring but you won't find me disrespecting fighters themselves for the most part.

                    Hope that answers your question.

Terrence Crawford needs to prove that 'He is the best fighter at 154 pounds, then? He should solidify himself as one of the best fighters in the Middle to Super Middle Weight Division's. That is the only way, this fight between Terrence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez becomes a legitimate title fight'.

The only reason why? The fight is being talked about now 'Is because Crawford is undefeated, and people within this era of boxing seem to be obsessed with unbeaten fighters. Terrence Crawford without his unbeaten record, does not really have the presents in the game of Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather Junior or Manny Pacquiao'.

Note: Canelo Alvarez in my opinion, should in all honesty? Be working his way back towards challenging ether Dmitry Bivol or Arthur Beterbiev at 175 pounds 'For the Undisputed titles'. That is the ultimate challenge for Canelo Alvarez, left in the game. To ether avenge his loss to Bivol, or fight for the Undisputed titles in the light heavyweight divisions.

This should be his primary objective over fighting David Benavidez, who in my opinion? Will at some point be unable to remain competing even at 175 pounds, and he may have to move up into the Cruiserweight Divisions'. That is the trajectory of Benavidez's career in my opinion, the many years of extensively weight draining himself. The negative effects of such training methodologies will accumulate, and he will be forced to compete close to his natural weight.

To conclude: So, for this fight between Terrence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez to gain traction 'Crawford needs to prove that he is a legitimate threat in the higher weight classes. He also needs to attack Alvarez outside of the ring, maybe? Crawford can creative some sort of theme and narrative, and claim that Canelo Alvarez does not like fighting African American fighter's. All time great African American fighters, do seem to have all the attributes and traits to beat Canelo Alvarez. Floyd Mayweather Junior even outside of his peak, showed the entire boxing community and wider world this back when they fought. I just think in terms of marketability Crawford may have to approach the fight from this sort of angle. Technically it is a specific set of attributes which stylistically have always challenge Alvarez, and those are Speed, Movement, Gears, Creativity, Endurance. The traditional African American style, does seem to draw from those attributes, more than many other styles.

The last African American fighter Canelo Alvarez fought was Jermell Charlo 'But Charlo as a fighter, seemed to have a very low level of slickness'. Terrence Crawford in comparison, is closer to the great archetypal African american fighters. That is why skill for skill? I think many people within the sport know, Crawford can compete with Canelo Alvarez from a technical perspective. But nobody knows for sure, whether he can move up into the higher weight divisions and still utilize his game effectively. That is why as we speak right now? Terrence Crawford needs to first prove that he is the best 154 pound fighter in the world, and then beat a top level fighter in the Middle to Super Middle Weight Divisions' etc.
