When Ortiz gets beat by Madrinov, what will your opinion be about him?

That won’t be the case with Ortiz. He’s like Tito Trinidad…he will walk through fire.. he’s proved that. His jab will dominate this fight. Best jab in the business

I know you like Tito but my guy, Tito was VERY EASILY beaten by pure boxers - Oscar beat him at will until he decided to run the last 4 rounds, Winky exposed Tito as one-dimensional with just the jab and a washed-up Roy toyed with him. I won’t even mention the 36 year old B-Hop.

We didn’t really know much about Madrimov before the Crawford fight, but we saw enough to see him beat Ortiz.
To be fair to Ortiz, I would have picked him to beat Madrimov had he not been exposed by Bohachuk.

that’s only when he gets lazy. In every fight after he’s knocked down he dominates after the knockdown. I might be wrong but my opinion is he’s the best at 154 except maybe bek we’ll see though. I rate him very highly

hey man the proofs in the pudding. Ortiz out here fighting bohachuk then Madrimov. The madrimov/ortiz winner will get either bud or the fundora/spence winner both unifying fights at 154 and the loser of Madrimov/ortiz will likely get bohachuk or tsyzu. Meanwhile your guy bootsy will chasing dream fights Mario barrios, Brian Norman jr, Conor benn lol. See where I’m going with this….?

That he at least had the balls to face a tough opponent. Unlike Ennis.

You know, Ricardo Mayorga had balls if steel - he fought Oscar, Tito, Mosley, and Cotto. Got beat by all

Like I said before, if Boots fights nobody in 2025, I will not disagree with you.

Mayorga was great. He won more titles than bootsy mayorga>bootsy and it’s not even close tbh. He was unified wba/wbc and lineal WW title holder iirc. Got robbed against spinks too or he would’ve been undisputed. Went up to 154 and won the WBC WW title as well. Got in their and fought the best of the best in his career ain’t no “b” in mayorga pardon my French. He’d ruin bootsys life

So you’re saying Boots career is over at just 27 and he should just retire?

He’s 28 in June and been a WW for 10 years. 31 fights. He has no fights lined up. His top target is Mario barrios now. His promoter has said it. Mario barrios who’s been KTFO by a LW and beaten semi retired old ass Keith Thurman who came back from his 5 year sabbatical to clown. I don’t know what else to say. They said they wanted all the names then when the names came knocking he ran back to the kiddie pool. They are a joke in boxing now. I’ve seen guys like this come and go he’s just another Andrade. He’s not the first he’s not the last. Hypejob 101 class is in lol
