Ortiz is fighting Israil Madrimov. Boots Ennis ducked Ortiz after Ortiz singed the contract.

That fight has not been signed.
I’m not dismissive of Ortiz, I’m just pointing out that his resume can be just as nitpicked as Boots.

I meant to say Ortiz is healthy and at 154. He will most likely meet Boots before 2025 is over.

Not really the same. Ortiz has actually fought tough opponents and has shown a willingness to sign contracts against tough opponents.

My point has been the same from the get-go. Any resume can be dissected and critiqued.
I understand the criticism thrown at Boots and like I said, 2025 is his year of reconning.

I don’t dislike Ortiz and I hate that I have to critique him in that negative way but it’s what you guys are doing with Boots.

Boots is healthy and is at 154, I guess 2025 is the year he shines.
If bootsy couldn’t fight Ortiz because of a life threatening condition I wouldn’t call it a duck. It’s a duck because he called out Ortiz him and Eddie they went on about 154 and “we want all the big names”. Then when the opportunity they claim they want and everyone is ducking them and they can’t get comes…and they turn it down with a weak pathetic excuse. And you and all the other bootsy lovers just go along with it without any question. Like cmon man

Like I said, I am not betting against you lol

If he’s fighting Madrinov, I also foresee Ortiz losing.

Just to be clear, I don’t believe Ortiz is a hype job but because of the back n forth with LAchargers373 and a few others, I will call him exactly that for the whole of 2025.

Madrimov is all wrong for Ortiz unless he has soem great strength of power to keep him at bay
But I just don’t see and I even predict a knockout
This I’m basing it on what happened in the Bud fight

Ortiz will handle madrimov much better than bud did bud doesn’t apply pressure he’s a counter fighter at heart that’s why his fight with madrimov was so close and pretty boring 2 counter punchers both refusing to lead. That won’t be the case with Ortiz. He’s like Tito Trinidad…he will walk through fire.. he’s proved that. His jab will dominate this fight. Best jab in the business
