    Being proud of your ancestors is great.

        i love all of our pasifika and maori whanau. aotearoa is a pacific country after all. I'm just not a fan of jingoism.

          I wouldn't say I'm jingoist, but do believe Pasifikan culture is superior in many ways to Western, in terms of traditions and family oriented values as opposed to individual ideas of self above all and the pursuit of money.
