Well fighters like Usyk and Beterbeiv certainly cemented their legacy and performed well! Maybe they should fight in 2025?

2024 featured significant bouts that captured fans' attention, including two matches between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, alongside other high-stakes fights like Beterbiev vs. Bivol and Joshua vs. Dubois. These fights not only drew considerable viewership but were also pivotal in crowning undisputed and unified champions, which is a rare and exciting occurrence in boxing

But they are older fighters in their late 30's and there is no depth being them. The middleweight division is starving for a elete talent.

I am sad to say the next few years look very bleak. Unless fly weights and bantamweights who weigh about 34 pound less than your average USA female are your thing, boxing has very little for the future and will lose a lot of mindshare / popularity amongst the masses.

    That is my take.

The main reasons why I tuned in to this card was to see the undercard matches. I wasn't expecting much from the main event.
