This was not a good year. It was a sign of the (bad) times. Just about every fight was on ppv. Gone, are the years of seeing talent develop on cable (or free TV).

And no one really faces each other, still. Outside of drug/weight cheat Ryan Garcia, no one is really asking to face anyone that is truly at the top.

Fans are still being deprived of seeing the fights that they want to see. Canelo, Tank, and more are not giving the fans what they want.

Until we have a platform for truly developing talent that doesn't cost the fans much. And until we find ourselves seeing the top matches taking place on PPV.....Can we start saying that we had a good boxing year....if not a great one.

Netflix actually gave the fans a treat. I'd like to see more of this. I also like what ProBox TV and the Saudi Arabian teams are doing.

It was a relatively good year,

We have a definitive HW champion, a definitive LHW champion, a definitive SBW champion, & we saw 2 of the 3 best women in the world fight another classic.

We also saw Turki light a fire under the asses of Western promoters.

So, I'd say in comparison with recent years, it was okay.

Lol at the Writer's squad throwing stiff jabs at Turki and the Decapitators Regime.

Overall it was a good year for Boxing, not the best but good enough to make the cut. Except for Tyson-Paul doe. That was straight garbage, luckily the Ladies stole the show and saved the evening.

To call Turki a “thug-in chief” is as racist as it comes. A white man calling a brown man a “thug” is nothing new. Turki has given us the fights we want and is paying boxers what they have been denied for decades but a white man calls him a thüg. Fück you guys!

The next racist trope comes from another anus of a man who states that “The sport also continued to sell itself out to the murderous Saudi Arabian regime” - Saudi Arabia did not invade Iraq to kill over a million Brown Müslïms.
Saudi Arabia is not stealing or shortchanging boxers the way American promoters are.
Saudi Arabia does not lead the world in mass incarceration.

The list on our side is too long to write here. Bottom line is we are getting the fights that we want and boxers are getting paid what they want, how is that a bad thing?

Of course it was a good year for boxing.

Top guys fighting top guys. How long did it take to finally get Beterbiev and Bivol in the ring together and Fury vs Usyk?

Dubois vs Joshua was a solid matchup too. This was a solid year for boxing.

I've taken some short hiatuses this year; I'm finding it more difficult to track the newer crop of fighters which is what I normally like to do. Hoping the US promoters can figure out the next step.

But the big Riyadh Season cards have drawn me back in.

Some good stories I like too: Usyk, Dubois' comeback, . Beterbiev-Bivol. Bakole destroying Anderson but Anderson taking it well, I like how Jose Valenzuela rebult himself. I felt pretty good watching some of those cards this year, I was having fun; I noticed that

Lost intrest in ****ty cards whereas i used to atleast wait for the main event.

The only events i ended up wztching were KSA cards, i no longer care about the canelos or the tanks...

Good main event with good card? I'll watch.
One sided main event with ****ty card? Nah, promoters need to keep up with turki.
