I used to loathe this kid, but the young rat boy grew on me and burrowed a place in my heart in his last 3 fights.

I like Sunny. But since his retirement, he takes the stage every week to talk about... his retirement.

De Nile. The Bam beating had nothing to do with Sunnys retirement to hear him tell it. It was a pre existing condition. Sunny was declining before the fight, Bam wouldnt have stood a chance otherwise. Yafai wasn't hurting him either.

Much ado about nothing. You can announce retirement any time and can come back any time. Ask Teo, Shakur, Tank, etc. What's the huge deal? Leo Santa Cruz didn't even announce anything, yet he has not been seen in years.

It wasn't that long ago Sunny was saying that no Flyweight on earth could touch him and the only reason he gets hit is because he likes to engage and make it exciting....

Not a huge fan, he’s not the best, strongest puncher, slickest, most technical…. But I respect this guy, he was fun to watch, and he put himself out there for our entertainment

For a flyweight from the UK who no longer fights Sunny Edwards sure gets alot of coverage on the site.

Yes, BoxingScene seems to have taken a turn for the worse recently and turned into a website about British boxing.
