It’s hard to gauge his ceiling. I remember when he looked just decent against fighters like Witherspoon and Chisora, but since then, he’s decisively beaten all the top heavyweights. While the gap between Chisora and fighters like Joshua/Dubois/Fury is significant, he managed to bridge it impressively. It’s entirely possible he could overcome yet another jump in quality in these mythical matchups.

      Don't get me wrong
Usyk would give a lot of people problems in any era.
I'm just saying he would be bottom half of top 10 in any serious era.

      Never P4P king.

I am not disputing the fact that Oleksandr is an all-time great but then where do boxing historians and scholars rank him? It's not like this is one of the most competitive eras in boxing history. It's one of the weakest. However, there's one thing that I do know and that is Oleksandr Usyk is emphatically one of the best fighters of his own time, era and generation.

Although many believe Usyk won a comfortable decision against Fury in their second fight, the reality is that it was a very close contest. Usyk's points advantage was certainly not as wide as the judges' scoring suggested; I even think a draw would have been a fair result. Both fighters neutralized each other effectively, with neither landing any truly damaging blows. Although Usyk's punches looked more precise, they didn't seem to hurt Fury significantly, while Fury landed some shots that looked quite dangerous for Usyk.
