Theoretically if they wanted easy wins. Barrera should stay away from Pac, Morales should stay away from Barrera, Pac should stay away from Morales. But what challenge is their in that. Pac will have to adjust to beat Morales or JMM. Barrera will have to adjust to Pacquiao. Now that Pac has seen what it is like to be 130 and maybe a little insight into Morales and what he has to offer needs to adjust to the more experienced fighter. I think personally at this level of greatness among these fighters that Barrera will be much much tougher for Pac in the rematch. Pac will be much much tougher for Morales as well. The good thing that came out of the Morales victory that Pac can take with him as a blessing is that he will remain hungry. He was showin signs of contentment for a bit but i know he is hungry for a rematch. That guys is torturing himself right now for losing. Pac hates to lose and thats why he will be tougher in a rematch.

The thing is Morales ups his game as his competition does. Morales is more versatile in the ring than both MAB and JMM in the fact that when he is into the fight he will adjust and change from brawler to boxer and back again. MAB on the other hand always chooses one or the other and sticks with it till the end. JMM is always a boxer.

He throws every punch in the book and he throws it well, he is not the quickest fighter in the world but against fighters like pac he knows how to set the pace and keep fighters like him off of him. Basically i think another 12 round fight with Morales would seriously shorten Pac's career . And pac's chances of beating Morales arent very good that we gotta admit.

Im not saying they should stick to easy fights but they should keep building on their career. Pac should fight MAB again, Im sure a rematch would be much harder on Pac than the first fight. It would build on his legacy and has a higher chance of win.

I agree that maybe they should go seperate ways build up their careers and legacy and then do a rematch. The roles have been reversed because Erik has redeemed himself by beating Pac. Pac needs Morales more now to solidify his legacy. Pac and Morales are brothers in spirit that is why they respect each other alot and it shows. However it may not happen that way. Finkel and Arum are talking about doing it again this september. Well have to wait and see. The fight did so well, promoters want more money. Anyway if they had to wait, Erik would get older and that wouldnt be fair.

I will go with the latter, and choose the opponents more wisely next time.
I actually saw the Manila Ice punch a coupla times, most notably the last punches Pac threw in the 12th round. It's just too bad that Manny didn't use it a lot. There were a lot of times where he ended up in the left side of Morales after certain exchanges, if he used the right hook then, things would've been a bit different.

Pac is still improving his game and this fight well give him confidence even in defeat and his chin has been checked and it passed with flying colors. I think Pac should fight JMM first but Morales should be in the future.
