Pac Deserves a Rematch

Congratulations to Morales!!! I thought he won a close fight. Some people scored it a draw or even gave the fight to Manny but the majority rightfully acknowleges Morales won. There are also alot of people that have been saying that a rematch is unnecessary. To them I say bull ****! This fight brought as much to the table as any of the great fights in recent memory. I would like to say to all of you who think that Morales deserves another shot at Barrera who has won 2 of the last 3 meetings and the 3rd, I must say, a desisive win in a close fight by Barrera. Some thought that Morales won but most rightfully acknowledged Barrera as the winner. Is there really a need for a fourth bout between the two. You bet! Just like there is a need for a rematch between Pacquiao and Morales. The fans will demand it. It is only fair for Pacquiao whos heart and courage make him deserving of another shot. Great fighters have gotten rematches on lesser and more decisive one sided victories in the past only to rewrite the outcome. A fighter like Pacquiao should not be allowed to fade into obscurity based on a match that still leaves much to the imagination. There are still alot of what ifs and 12 rounds was just not enough. I can still see Pacquiao being able to win againts Morales as do many others. I think Morales needs to take another 7 or knock Pac out to really convince me. On the other hand Pac will need to win 14 rounds or ko Morales to convince me as well. It is 1-0 7rds to 5 -Morales. I don't think the final bell has rung. If heart and courage can get a fighter anything it should be a second chance.

I do not mean to be rude, but anyone who thinks Morales won the third fight may need prescription glasses. That was a complete blowout,IMO.

I think it is exaggerated that Erik has Pac's "number". You never know if the differences in gloves and the supposed headbutt which caused the bad cut might alter the outcome of the fight. The fight was close enough that it is certainly conceiveable that Pac could win if they fought again in a year or two.

However, that's for later. As for right now, I think Pac and MAB should fight again as well.

That is your opinion and it is respected. But you are being a tiny bit on the Morales nuthugger side as this fight was CLOSE. Decisive but competitive. I saw sparks in Pacquiao that goes againts your 100 for 100 assesment. Morales got worked as well. To cross out pacquiao would be a sign of disrespect or maybe even fear which is a compliment. He is deserving of a rematch. He wants it and he deserves it PERIOD. One thing I have learned from Morales is to never underestimate heart. You know Pacquiao has it and even Erik respected Manny for it, said it was one of the toughest fights of his career. You must be trippin if you don't think a rematch is in order.

No, Morales has Pac's number. If Pac wants to beat Morales he would need to reinvent himself almost totally. Pac was beaten you can see it in his face. I had a hard time accepting it but when it's in front of you how can you not.

The gloves would of probably made some difference but it wouldn't have change the outcome in my opinion. I think Pacquiao actually fought better after he got cut then before he got cut. Did anyone else notice that Morales wasn't all busted up the way he usually is after fights? Maybe with the Reyes gloves Morales would of been busted up a little more but he still would of beat Pac that night.

Pac wasn't doing enough damageto bust up EM. He was way way too inaccurate with teh volume of punches he threw.
