Agreed, I can't stand rematch clauses for title fights but it would seem rather pointless in this setting particularly for a fight that no1 has asked for in the 1st place, not that there's anything wrong with the fight being made, but he's just a prospect, losses are supposed to be a part of his development, it's this ****** insistence to stay undefeated that's ruining the sport and getting in the way of the best fights being made

Rematch clauses need to stop it's becoming a joke. This was started by Hearn and Joshua and escalated into a complete Farce. Itauma is now officially a joke I hope McKean KO's his ass a complete fraud.

Dempsey McKean is already 34? I’m surprised he hadn’t taken a couple stay active fights down under since his loss to Hrgovic. I’m not really sure what to think of McKean. Itauma looks like a beast but this is a step up from the faded Wach. I really don’t know how good either Itauma or McKean is.

I agree, always fighting with a parachute Eddie & Aj held the belts hostage for years with they're rematchroom clauses, Ruiz & Wilder wanted to undespute as Aj would never fight Wilder.
Even Whyte, waking up on the canvas v pov his first words were "rematchroom clause eddie"

Itauma is a beast vs weak opposition... but I have a feeling McKean will give him a serious wakeup call.
It will be interesting to see how Itauma reacts to some serious incoming blasts. McKean is strong, punches hard,
is relentless and talented. This will indeed be the strongest test yet for Itauma. If he survives and wins it means
he is in fact a real prospect.
