Team Pacheco has done an amazing job with his career thus far. Pacheco has every advantage going into this fight so he should win but this won't be an easy fight and likely Pachecos toughest opponent.

If I remember correctly Nelson is an Army vet in Bud Crawfords camp. Hes likely not an old 36yo considering he started late and needless to say, hes also in a good camp.

Pacheco needs to show maturity all around (imo) to get a clear win whether by ko/tko/ud.

One small problem with that plan is - the world does not know who Steven Nelson is.

He didn't want no part of McCumby's mustache.

I'll say this, I've seen both fighters many times and this is a 50/50 fight. Nelson hits like a mule. If he wins, his humor and creativity as exhibited in his social media will get a lot of followers. He is a funny, intelligent guy and this would be a big leap in popularity if he can win. Very likable guy. Opposite is Pacheco who has a personality slightly above that of a dead frog; a very dead frog.

I actually really like this fight! This is a solid step up for both guys. It sucks Nelson waited till he was 36 to do it tho. Pacheco should win, but Nelson is still a good fighter, and I wouldn't b surprised if he pulled off an upset. Steve's biggest problem is he's not hungry. He's a very talented guy, just doesn't have the drive. I remember thinking this guy was gonna b a problem in the division years ago then he just did absolutely nothing with his career.

Pacheco still just 23, yet it seems like he has been around forever. Still waiting for a breakout fight. I don't know much about Nelson so I'll take the word of others that he's solid.

It's a good venue for this kind of fight, nice showcase look, small and cozy. They should use it more often, rather than bigger arena with empty seats

What is Mercado's first name? I like the way he's talking. That's a different kinda confidence
