Comments Thread For: Blair Cobbs calls every top-10 welterweight onto the canvas

Blair Cobbs has never been shy about engaging in a bit of showmanship to get where he wants to go, and on Tuesday via press release he issued a public challenge to any and all welterweights ranked in the top 10 by any of boxing's four major sanctioning bodies.

I feel like Benn Cobbs would be a good fight. Should be at a similar level as each other.

Love him or hate him he certainly wants all the smoke.

I'd like to see him vs Conor Benn I think that would be a good logical fight for both

Not sure beating a washed up Broner means anything... But I get it, he needs money, thus a big fight.

I don't know if I even like watching Cobbs that much, but he can be tricky, he can beat you, will take an honest beating, and he is willing to fight anyone. He has won me over in that respect.

Cobbs would have been a good scrap for one of Ennis' stay-busy fights.
Boots preferred to be dormant during the time his contract with Showtime started.
And here was Cobbs calling him out on his face in front of a large crowd, yet Ennis failed to capitalized on it.
Which could have been the basis for the promotional pitch. (There's not enough of such scuffles.)
Strangely enough, Jaron sued his promoter for failing to provide 3-4 fights / year. SMH...

Cobbs vs. Ennis would've made perfect sense in Philly.

Blair "Corny" Cobbs. You talk all this sh...t but you never speak the name Alexis Rocha. You never ask for that rematch. Why not?? He beat you until your hair was dry. Your wet curls is your pride. Go get your respect back!

Idk why Ennis won't fight him. It's the perfect fight to get him attention and build his name. And Cobbs been calling him out for awhile
