And it wasn't even that big of a punch.
Jaimie obviously fought guys with better pedigrees and at least made it to the final bell.

    93.8678% luck.
That was a HUGE punch! Damn near took Munguia's head off.

"Jaime fought four times this year, he was tired. Jaime was just trying to showcase his explosive style to his Mexican countrymen."

Excuse after excuse. He cherry picked someone who refused - REFUSED - to be steamrolled and who had good recovery skills, patience, quick hands, and a deceptive record.

      That's what happened.

Munguia was also winning the fight comfortably, dropped the French, but his mindset and that of all Mexicans was that in his hometown with his people, you need to show a clear win and bravado, something other cultures don´t understand. He could have cruised and win by decision but instead took risks. He has a good chin but the punch was perfect. He is now being ridiculed by Mexican fans and media who wanted to see blood and has a mental breakdown, give the guy a break.
Stop making excuses for Munguia. Just because your guy got shocked, it doesn't mean that he's being hated on. It's more like he's being laughed at. He clearly cherry-picked this guy because he only had 4 KO's in 25 wins. And, he's a natural MW. Jaime threw caution to the wind because he had no respect for Curace's power, and he dropped him early. But, he kept doing the same thing over and over, trying to land that big KO shot, while Bruno covered up and continued to try to counter. He was landing some of those counters throughout the fight, so it's no surprise that he'd keep trying it. What is surprising is that Munguia, a seasoned fighter with 45 fights, fought in such an amateuristic manner. All fighters are potentially dangerous if you leave your chin out there and your hands down. Jamie packed an arena in what was to be his homecoming return vs a feather-fisted MW. This after a valliant but losing effort to Canelo. But instead of scoring an easy stoppage win, he got careless and KO'd himself! That's at least a little funny. Come on now, I know you're cracking a smile.

Lmfao, Bunch dudes on here seem very pleased that the mexican fighter got Kayo'd by judging some of the comments, well thats part of Boxing too gents, sometimes you just get caught flush and its a wrap, we all knew Mungo isnt exactly known as a defensive fighter so that influenced a lot as well.

Boxing is one mean sport and some fans are too. Thats why you dont Overlook opponents in Boxing, even the guy with only 5 ko can finish you, it obly takes one punch or sequence of punches.

Don't worry guys, the way boxing's state is at Curace will have *******, PED's, the cure for cancer and a bit of sugar when the tests come out. They need to protect the cash cows....

Well, I don't know about the rest of the fans, I'm not pleased but surprised. They carefully look for an easy prey, someone with a clean record but not particularly powerful, the found one in France from a very tough city, all the elements were there to elevate munguia to the highest, and boom, another cherry pick gone wrong. A least you have to smile, the sacrifice lamb turned out to be a wolf

I remember when the fight was announced everybody was asking who TF is Bruno Surace? Also most people criticized Jamie for his "can crushing" and "cherry picking" ways. Well if you do that for a number of years, you do not develop and improve, you get lazy and then you get starched by who TF is Bruno Surace.

Lol im not trying to make it about race DC but to be fair, Meh-hee-cans get way more heat when they lose than the Bruthas do. I think more in this case since it was a 'cherry' gone wrong.

But hey upsets do happen. Nothing to do with colors.
