To all the haters, Munguia fought 4 times this year, nobody does that anymore, it can take a toll. Munguia was also winning the fight comfortably, dropped the French, but his mindset and that of all Mexicans was that in his hometown with his people, you need to show a clear win and bravado, something other cultures donīt understand. He could have cruised and win by decision but instead took risks. He has a good chin but the punch was perfect. He is now being ridiculed by Mexican fans and media who wanted to see blood and has a mental breakdown, give the guy a break.

Back in the day they would fight 10 times a year, he didn't look exhausted, he got caught with a punch and that was all she wrote, the kid was not that good to begin with, was well-matched and that is it. He still young though.

Mungbean was getting touched all night, his defense was not there maybe he beleived what was written that this was just an ...... exhabition for his people to watch and adore who knows but it was not just a lucky punch the Frenchie was giving it his all, i am not angry that Mung lost but i am angry that i did not put something on Sause'A just for bragging rights. The Punisher or something like that i laughed at that name .. until that clip to the jaw while Mungbean was looking ****** before the punch even landed but after after that sweet head bounce off the canvas and the eruption of the crowd and those that thought it a done deal...........Boxing can be amusing .

I watched this fight. There was no eruption at Munguia's getting KO''d. It was more like a gasp of horror and then eerie silence. I saw JCC, Sr grit his teeth when the shot landed. Then he turned his head as Jamie fell, as if he knew he wouldn't get up from a shot like that.

If the count was fast, it was likely because the ref knew Jamie wasn't getting up. He likely did it instead of waving it off outright, trying to give Munguia a chance to get up although he knew he couldn't.
