Someone should teach Munguia that winning a decision is sometimes the smart choice.. especially against a guy who clams up well and is only looking to counter.

The curse of the homecoming fight. Fighters should stay clear away from it.

Really? That fight isnt even close for me. Pac is a guy you could excuse a few cherry picks. He fought everybody.

Teo Kambosos would be high on my list too.

Once they have their big cash out fight. They run into a problem with match making.
Putting boots name in with Munguia and Berlanga is really funny of you.

To all the haters, Munguia fought 4 times this year, nobody does that anymore, it can take a toll. Munguia was also winning the fight comfortably, dropped the French, but his mindset and that of all Mexicans was that in his hometown with his people, you need to show a clear win and bravado, something other cultures don´t understand. He could have cruised and win by decision but instead took risks. He has a good chin but the punch was perfect. He is now being ridiculed by Mexican fans and media who wanted to see blood and has a mental breakdown, give the guy a break.

I would say “beating the brakes off” an opponent is giving them a sustained beatdown, not a one-punch KO.

With that said, full credit to Surace for weathering the storm and landing a picture-perfect counter when the opportunity presented itself

What a disgrace, beaten by a frenchie in front of his countrymen. Everybody knows the last french who was tough was Napoleon
