Glad he didn't repeat 2023 this year; he's an interesting fighter.

All prospects always look up and want to fight the big names, which is understandable. What they fail to realise is that the "name fighters" they are mentioning are also looking up towards bigger goals, bigger names, more money, more titles which also means they are not looking down and dreaming of fighting young contenders snapping at their heals. Contenders need to make themselves more attractive before any of the big names will even look in their direction.

Conwell may be talented, and he's certainly hyped. But his record is padded with nobodies. He needs to step up against a couple of fringe contenders before deserving a big fight.

Another guy who I expected more to this point. The talk was all good when he was just 22-23, seemingly as solid a fighter then as he is now - really not sure what the holdup was (*yes I know about the Day fight, could have been that). I remember thinking he might lack focus and consistency late in fights

He should have been good enough to have mixed it up with a couple of known guys but the leap hasn't happened yet. I hope he truly gets in the mix this year.
