      The author is critical of McCain's choice, but I'm sure if it was a passed member of his family who would receieve the pardon he would sing a different tune.

            They have not done this already? It has been talked about for a while, I don't see the problem here he was a victim of the time he lived in. Just take the conviction off the books no big deal.

              Sounds easy, but it would probably open a can of worms most politicians wouldn't want to deal with. How do you pardon one man because he was a celebrity, but plenty of regular citizens who were railroaded during that time can't get pardoned because they have no fame or status. I would think families of those people would be a little pissed.

                  I guess you have a point....but doing a little bit of the right thing is better than doing nothing at all even if more should be done.

                    Jack is not going anywhere, because Jack is common folk, you have to be like that professor that got arrested for ***** to care, you know high class "educated" , mofos.
