    Berlanga's running on fumes now.
He needs a convincing win over a credible opponent in order to stay truly relevant.
    We're waiting.

John Ryder went the distance with Canelo too. So did 154 lb Charlo, 40 year old GGG, and 160lb Munguía. Why are we acting like that's some huge accomplishment when Canelo hasn't stopped anyone since Plant in 2021?

They're going to have to if they want to keep him relevant. Someone he can ktfo to look incredible after "going the distance" with Canelo. Just to add to the hype that he accomplished something amazing and he's truly going to go onto great things in the future.

I'm not saying he can't, but it's an obvious plan that they'll take so they can continue banking off him.

I could see an opponent like Jesse Hart or Demond Nicholson

Therein lies the rub. They're going to have to be very creative to pull that off.

Berlanga was already headlining middling cards before Canelo.. and he will now return to the same garbage., nothing to see here
