I've enjoyed the Aj fights and drama over the years, but I truly feel he is risking his health at this point. All boxers are at risk, but you can almost see the CTE forming in his ko losses. Never mind Dubois, imagine him in there with Zhang or Bakole? There are just too many guys capable of starching him.
I think he needs better advice from those around him. If he want to box for the love of it fine, but you have to stick to Wallin level dudes-no big ****ers that's for sure. If he wants to win a title before retirement he should just retire now, or follow the above plan until the belts fracture and see if there is a non puncher he can fight for a vacant strap.
Don't want to see anyone permanently damaged in the ring and he and wilder are just low hanging fruit at this point.
I don't agree, I think he is what he's always been.
I don't agree, I think he is what he's always been.
Not saying he was ever this atg destroyer or something...he and deontay had a pretty weak division to rule over. It is what it is. The division has heated up a bit...I dont think prime Aj would have the success today that he did
I stated awhile back? That Anthony Joshua and his team, have made a tactical mistake 'Not immediately taking the Daniel Dubois fight. It is 2024, Joshua has not been a World Champion for approximately 3 years. Of course Anthony Joshua is one of the most accomplished Heavyweight fighters active in the sport, and one of the three Heavyweight Mountains of this era. But in pure objective terms, for the past 3 years Joshua has been a contender'.
If Tyson Fury was to beat Oleksandr Uysk II, in their rematch 'Anthony Joshua does not deserve to fight Tyson Fury. Especially not for the Unified World Heavyweight titles, but? If Team Match-room, want to make that fight. Then they best advise Tyson Fury to vacate his World title belts, hypothetically speaking if such an eventually happened to occur in the future'.
The biggest and most significant fight out there for Anthony Joshua, at this stage of his career 'Was always going to be the rematch with Daniel Dubois II. Not only is that contest a World title fight, for the IBF Title. But it is also a fight, where Joshua would gain masses of credit just for taking the fight. Because it is a high jeopardy fight of a level which Anthony Joshua has never experienced before in his career? There are still many people out there currently right now, who are not accepting in full what happened on 21st of September 2024'.
Note: I have personally acknowledged, that Anthony Joshua's performance vs Daniel Dubois I 'Was skill for skill his worst ever fight in his professional career. Never before ever in Joshua's professional career, have his usually solid fundamental boxing skills been so under par, and it was that area of his game? Which created the environment in my opinion, that aided in Daniel Dubois's victory. Without those unforced technical errors, and mistakes? I honestly believe Daniel Dubois would of been done by round 5 to 6, like he has been historically in all of his top level Heavyweight fights which he has lost'.
I consider Daniel Dubois as a fighter, a front runner 'Dubois's story and efforts in the sport are inspiring. But I still do not rate him, as a complete Heavyweight fighter. Daniel Dubois quite simply has showed the great courage, and awareness to take a opportunity at this stage of his career. The probability is that events like this are going to occur, when a athlete has a solid work ethic, combined with ability. A fighter with the attribute's of Daniel Dubois, at some point is going to achieve great feats in his career'.
And I believe Daniel Dubois's victory over Anthony Joshua I, was his 'Any Given Saturday. The moment in time, where he was operating more efficiently with physical matter. Both from a physiological perspective, and also in terms of the immaterial aspects of a fighter. Daniel Dubois executed his best fight ever, because that was most likely the only way he would win. Due Anthony Joshua being a superior fighter, in almost every single area of his game'.
Daniel Dubois was done vs Oleksandr Uysk by round 5 to 6, and he was also done vs Joe Joyce by the mid rounds 'Dubois may have sustained a injury vs Joyce, but regardless? The action of the fight, portrayed a trajectory were? Joe Joyce was getting stronger, and seemingly became more invulnerable to Dubois physical attacks'.
And a similar trajectory and theme with the action during Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois I 'Could also be seen'.
'Joshua on is worst night, round 2, round 3, round 4, round 5? Anthony Joshua was finding his way back into the fight. From a share physiological perspective, he was actually getting stronger round by round. Anthony Joshua uncharacteristically against Daniel Dubois, seemed to suddenly abandon his usual measured and very analytical approach to fighting. Which ultimately lead him into producing uncharacteristic unforced errors, which presented Daniel Dubois with opportunity to win the fight'.
To conclude: As a competitor, the most important fight out there for Anthony Joshua right now is the rematch with Daniel Dubois II. The reality of Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury is? That there has been no real rivalry between the fighters in my opinion. Nowhere near to the level which the media and certain sections of the boxing community have claimed. But what will make the fight truly significant, is if both fighters can somehow win World Heavyweight titles again.
And this is why the most significant and important fight for Anthony Joshua at this stage of is career is 'The rematch vs Daniel Dunois II, for the IBF World Heavyweight title' etc.
Absolute bollocks , IF he wanted to fight Dubois he would have fought him with one arm . The way he was annihilated put them off any thought of a rematch ,he was brutally battered and know there's a major chance of that happening again should he be foolish enough to share the same ring. He's hoping Uysk does the job on Fury and a big jog at that , so he can slip to another easier payday .
More bullshido! & entitlement frim Edward & his cash cow hypejob Aj.
They want Fury to win & give them a voluntary??
They want Fury to loose & make a looser cash out fight.
& if neither of those happen they want Dubois again? No Dubois will then have a mandatory.
Fight Wilder, they deserve each other, unlike those 2 the divisions moved on, everyone fights everyone now.
AJ has avenged every stoppage loss hes had, dont write him off
——-
His whole career is set on getting beat up and then getting revenge. And the holy grails of “don’t write him off or he’s still got a puncher’s chance or he’s still the cash cow or whatever else his loyal favs want us to believe”
AJ has avenged every stoppage loss hes had, dont write him off
Fat Andy lost the rematch at the all-you-can eat buffet, he didn't bother training for the rematch. Any decently fit HW that day could've did what Joshua did, just stay away from obese Andy for 12 rounds for an easy decision. Are you still fooled by Hearn and his PR team that Joshua became a "brilliant" boxer by running for 12 rounds against a fat man? Or did you believe that Joshua's rebuild 2.0 against the softest touches was the best version of Joshua ever? Well we all know how that worked out lol.
