Some guys don't mind though and it's a way to make a living, this a guy who came from absolutely nothing so he saw a chance to make abit of money and he took it even tho it's a hard gig to have. Sad that he's passed so young tho, 37 is no age at all——-
He “was advised to become a journeyman” - this has to be one of the saddest and painful reality I’ve ever read.
You are taking on a role of a doormat, a stepping stone, a pińata, a punching bag etc for other guys to better themselves and their resumes.

From the tone, it sounds like suicide: “As we remember the beautiful person that Genadji was, let us also recognize the importance of mental health and the silent battles many endure. His story serves as a poignant reminder that we all face challenges, and it’s crucial to support one another.” But you’re right, the cause of death should’ve been made clear.Comment

I don’t think I’ve read many articles about the passing of someone I never heard of with such interest. Rest In Peace, Genadij. May the Lord keep you always.Comment

This is a reality of the sport. There’s a real need for such workmen, as you can’t match a prospect with stiff opposition right out of the gate. Most top guys fight some journeymen — or “no-hopers” — early in their careers to gain experience, hone their skills and pad their record. This is partly why an undefeated record must be scrutinized.——-
