Ward and Gatti : For the obvious reasons.

Diego Corrales during the Clottey fight: The guy was gettin tagged and he just kept coming. I don't think he would ever stop fighting or stop trying to win unless he was knocked out cold. People probably took that for granted back in the day, but especially in modern times where fighters quit or give up in different ways, someone like Corrales is a refreshing memory.

      Andre Ward
in his fight with Miranda: Te guy reminds of a giant version of Marquez for some reason. He's great and fast with both his hands like Marquez, and just like Juan he stays in the fight visually. He never looks like he's takin a single moment, or a round off. And just like Juan he's like, DEAD FOCUSED for EVERY second of EVERY round. Even if Ward were to get hurt in a fight, I'd put my house on Ward just stayin focused and possibly coming back to box your ****in **** off for 9 rounds. Even when the guy talks, Ward is all dramatic and focused an ****...lol Just like Juan. Those guys are probably the most intriguiging fighters. If there were any fighter's brains to pick at, I'd want to pick at theirs.

Hopkins: Work ethic and dedication you can't deny.

Julio Cesar Chavez: Now I didn't watch him growing up at all. No one in my family did for some reason lol. My grandfather loved baseball and I ended up loving baseball along with Basketball. I missed all of Chavez's career, and even a large portaint of Oscar De La Hoya/Fernardo Vargas' career. But Chavez, the guy was a human hacksaw. I watch his older fights and for what he lacked in reach and defense, he made up for in durability, strength, and punch accuracy/determination. Nothin fazed that guy from throwing the perfect punches.

      Shane Mosley
: Tough, durable, and always putting up a fight. I mean an old version of himself was kneck and kneck with a prime Cotto. At no point in that fight did Mosley look all that deterred.

      Vernon Forrest
: For what he was able to do to Mosley. Mosley was like a brawling speed-demon in his prime, lol and Forrest just walked through that **** like it was nothing. The guy had ******ed reach and leverage. To witness someone blatantly, just have someone like Mosley's number, it's somthing that just can't go unnoticed.

      Ricardo Mayorga
: The guy is a complete ass and undisciplined. But that's what made him successfull. No ones hunger ever matched his. The moment he got a lil fame, a lil attention he began acting like a child lol. He relished in that minor fame, instead of just doing what brough him to that point in his career. He had an eye and an appetite of a ****in blood thirsty soldier at first. He knew all the angles and would cut air in half just to see you fall. Dude would wing shots at Godzilla if he had to, but than he just started performing for the crowd. After that, he was considered a joke.

Those are the only guys that actually put me on my ass after a fight and have me thinking. It's good stuff from all of them.

For me it was watching Paulie Maglignnaggi fighting cotto at 140, He talked the talk and walk the walk that night, Even though Cotto was way bigger than him on fight nigt, Even though Arum had Cotto weight in 2 days before the fight just so Cotto could recuperate before fight night he fought cotto at cotto's game instead of running/moving.

He got Knocked down, got beat up by cotto but he didnt give up he even dish out his own enough to win 4 to 5 rounds on my card...I was just won over by him that night, And i was able to find a new respect for him on that night.

Malignaggi fighting with a broken jaw. I never cared for Paulie, but this was one of those times I take my hats off to him.

Gerry P never wanting to quit after taking severe punishment from Juanma.

Chico for never wanting to quit against Floyd after the multiple kd's and being totally outclassed.

JMM for fighting like a real no-quit guy against Pac in Pac-JMM 1.

I see Paulie getting a lot of mentions in this thread, for me his rant after the Diaz fight was kind of a turning point in my perception of him. He said a lot of real **** that most guys wouldn't have the gall to on a stage like that.
