Turki says Bud "prefers to fight after May" when the whole world knows Canelo fights in May. What, he wants to have even more ring rust? This is part and parcel of why Inoue and Usyk have top billing for me, and Crawford comes in at #3. Ridiculous. He should be fighting Fundora.

Bud was the first choice for Fundora because he'd gotten interim champ in the Madrimov fight, and Fundora would lose the belt if he didn't fight Bud. So the only reason Fundora is able to fight Spence is that Bud decided he wants Canelo or nothing. Bud was guaranteed a shot at the WBO, and would have been emailed the belt if Fundora had vacated to fight Spence. He's satisfied with his accomplishments and wants a final payday vs Canelo, and if he gets that fight, I'm confident he won't be fighting to win, since he's already essentially retired.
