It is an exhibition within the end of the year RIZIN MMA card in Japan the sleazy CEO Sakakibara (think Dana White of Japan except much worse) runs trying to bring more attention back to his festivities after his biggest star retired recently and Inoue (Christmas Eve) and Ioka (NYE) took all the news feed for combat sports in Japan.

I'm not watching it but part of me is hoping Garcia shows up overweight because Anpo said at the presser that if Garcia does break the limit then he's he's kicking him in the face, just to match him in breaking rules.

On a random note, Moton was at 149 or so during weighins last time for a lightweight fight that got canned last week. He better start burning his turkey stuffing fast if he is doing it at jr welter (140) for this.

I'm more wondering what is the reason of bringing Moton to JAPAN is...even Garcia is still not THAT famous or popular out here, but Moton is...literally zero popularity or name value. Heck, the best he's known if anything was as "the Mayweather promoted boxer who self-claimed to surpass Naoya Inoue (lol) failed weigh-ins by 15 pounds" and thats about it. Makes me wonder if that was why he decided to make headlines on purpose.

Pacquiao exhibition was atleast understandable because he's Manny friggin Pacquiao, plus even for the newer boxing fans his name was thrown around a lot especially on the Inoue related articles not to mention there is a lot of Filipinoes living/working in Japan.
