Why are boxing fans so scared of MMA?

I'd put Pavlic up against any of the MMA guys in a straight up boxing match. But, not the other way around. A good grappler would end it quick under MMA rules. So what's the point of the thread? Either way it's unfair to one of the opponents, unless you can devise a type of match that is neutral.....like a kick box match with no take downs allowed......you might be able to get a somewhat fair match that way.

READ between the lines homey racism and ignorance fueled the explosion of mma period! like ive said in other posts ive traveled quite a bit through this wonderful country this past couple years and i now know the telling sign of a racist or ignorant(to the ********** that r all into it) is a ****ing tap out shirt..they dont wear white hoods no more they wear ****ing tap out shirts while blasting rap music(made by some minority they hate) out of their skin sticker covered pickup! The new white hope sells! they couldnt find one (at least not american) in boxing so they created mma! props to dana! ranking in the bucks built on racism and decreased attenion spans and btw im an ex high shcool varsity wrestler! i know the dedication and skills it takes,but i also know its not pleasing to the eye to see...thats why almost no1 came to our meets but everyone went to the football games! So whats next buddy? let me guess u will demand *****'s birth certificate? cuz most tea baggers are mma fans!

if mma fighters were so good they would become boxers and get paid real money . they cant make it in boxing so they go to mma. its as simple as that.
