I can't help but think the entire Eddie/Ennis team just made the shyt list with the Man from the Middle East. Obviously Eddie and Bozy did a lot of talking and as it turned out, it was just that, talk.

But I will concede the point that this whole situation has Boots looking suspect AF. I remember saying this would happen if he signed to Matchroom. You see when Boots was with Showtime and Espinosa he wasn't getting the top tier fights but he fought often and was being progressed nicely. Espinosa had a strategic plan for him after Showtime got out the biz. He would take Boots to PBC where he would be one of a handful of PBC stars that would be showcased on Amazon. Boots, Tank, Spence, Canelo, Jermell, David (Morrell and Benny) and a few others. Boots would have had access to PBCs entire roster of 147 and 54. All he had to do was fight a d the business would've taken care of itself. But Boots jumped the gun for the quick and easy Matchroom cash. Now just after 2 fights Boots realizes Hearn has no plan no strategy and no future for him. He knows if he stays with MR every fight will be this chaotic clusterfuqk of Hearn desperately trying to string some BS together. And to add insult to injury, the only American promoter he has access to to try and make fights is Oscar. And after last weeks CLLLLAAPPP BBAACCKK TTHUURRDDAY how realistic do you think that is.

No offense but the PBC has no money, they put on five $80 PPV's that didn't sell jack shyt or even 1/2 of what they claimed.

I think Karen hits harder than they give him credit. He did better than the first time and Boots got slapped around like he never did before. I'm pretty sure that had a lot to do with this. Even without Ortiz, Boots wade into 154 and one of those big Russians might eat his lunch.

Boots stock has plummeted to rock bottom in the last month after being slapped around by Karen and now ducking Ortiz. He has gone from "generational talent" to chicken. In terms of big Russians you might be right. The way Karen was landing that left hook cleanly and rocking Boots was scary. Imagine if Bakhram Mutrazaliev was landing his money punch left hook the way he was doing it to Tim Tszyu. How many shots would Boots be able to take before going down like Tim?

I never understood why Boots isn't with PBC. Either he doesn't like them, or they don't like him.
